A popular TikTok influencer has been found dead after being reported missing with thousands of fans left devastated by the news.
Michael Selwood, known to friends and followers as “Mikey,” had been reported missing over the weekend, prompting police to launch an urgent appeal for information on his whereabouts.
Sadly, officers confirmed he had been found dead at around 5pm on Sunday (July 19).

His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, while police have not released any further details surrounding his death, as reported by Need To Know.
He went missing in the Tameside area of Greater Manchester.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said: “Officers searching for Michael found him deceased. We would like to thank everyone who shared and supported this appeal.”
Michael had built a significant following on social media, amassing over 22,500 followers on one of his TikTok pages, where he uploaded videos related to boxing and reacting to trends.

Since news of his death broke, his social media pages have been inundated with tributes from friends and fans.
One follower described Michael as having a “heart of gold” and said the news of his death was “absolutely devastating.”
She said her thoughts were with his children, his wider family, and his two dogs, Rockie and Bonnie, who she said he “never gave up on” even after becoming homeless.
A page has since been set up on Facebook organising a balloon release in tribute to Michael, due to take place in Dukinfield, near Tameside, on Saturday (July 25).
