Disgraced reality TV star James Argent has been spotted singing in a TOWIE co-star’s Spanish bar following his domestic violence sentence.
The 38-year-old rocked up as the daytime drinks entertainment at Olivia’s La Cala in Malaga – but his new line of work has come under scrutiny following his recent domestic violence case.
During a holiday in Spain in May 2025, Argent was arrested for pushing his then girlfriend, Nicoline Artursson down a flight of stairs.

He later pleaded guilty and received a six-month prison sentence suspended for two years.
Argent’s work at the popular beachside bar in the tourist hotspot left a group of Brits looking on stunned.
Holidaymaker Ryan Little quickly got his phone out to snap the ex-TOWIE star as he began his routine.
The clip was filmed on 3 August at the bar owned by Argent’s former TOWIE co-star Elliott Wright, as reported by Need To Know.
Following his reality TV career, Argent pursued his life long dream of being a live performer.
Now fronting the Arg Band – he has performed at a number of venues from weddings to bars.
Since the video was posted online, former fans of the show have slammed the decision to let him sing in the bar whilst also discrediting his ability.
One person wrote: “Should be in prison.”
Another fan added: “Never able to hear him sing, he always muffles into the mic too close.”
One person said: “Can’t understand a word he is singing.”
One other commented: “Can we just admit that he isn’t even that good.”
Another wrote: “People actually pay for this.”
However, one fan was positive and said: “Love Arg, I’m over every few weeks and always go Olivia’s.”
Argent also received an order to complete a gender violence rehabilitation course following his guilty plea and was handed a two-year restraining order preventing contact with the former Miss Sweden.
