A pavement exploded and caught fire as pedestrians walked by just one metre away.
The shocking incident was captured on CCTV and shows pavement slabs outside flying into the air before flames erupted from underneath the footpath.
Two people could be seen crossing the street moments before the explosion, while a car drove past during the blast.

Luckily, no one was injured in the explosion in Boston, Lincs, as reported by Need To Know.
The street was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Lincolnshire Police said the pavement was closed due to ‘flames coming from underneath a footpath’.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service attended and described it as a ‘fire in an underground electrical installation’.
But the fire had self-extinguished before crews arrived.
A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: “At 1pm on Thursday 20 August, a fault on our underground electricity network caused a power cut affecting 68 properties in Boston.
“Supplies were isolated while the situation was made safe, and power was restored to all customers by 8.59pm.
“There was a small fire as a result of the underground cable fault.
“The situation was promptly made safe by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service and our engineers.”
