A bull has been rescued after becoming stranded on top of a 50ft-high water tank for around 36 hours.
The animal had been perched on the overhead tank since Sunday (6 September) evening in Daduni village, Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The unusual sight attracted a crowd of villagers, who feared the bull could slip and fall from the structure, as reported by Need To Know.

Veterinary doctors first administered an injection to sedate the animal before the rescue operation began.
Local government staff and villagers then secured the bull and prepared it to be brought down.
Once the animal had been sedated, a crane was used to carefully lower it from the top of the tank to the ground.
The bull was successfully rescued after spending around a day and a half stranded high above the village.
