Four women have been caught trying to smuggle 225 ‘fat jabs’ through a border checkpoint in their socks and pockets.
Customs officials stopped them when they walked through in wide-leg trousers with their heads down, refusing to look staff in the eye.
None of the travellers declared the hidden slimming injections.

The haul was seized at the Luohu border crossing as the suspects tried to enter mainland China from Hong Kong, according to a customs notice published on Saturday (12 Sep).
Officers said they entered the inspection zone one after another and were pulled aside after appearing anxious, as reported by Need To Know.
One woman had bags in both socks and her pockets.
A second suspect had a bag in her right sock and another in a pocket.
The other two had a bag hidden in each sock.
Each bag held 25 injection pens, bringing the total to 225.
Customs released photographs of the wrapped needles after they were pulled from the women’s clothing.
The official bulletin did not name the travellers, identify the brand, or give a street value.
They appeared to be the same trendy slimming pens that have become a grey-market staple because of the huge price gap across the border.
Similar cases at nearby crossings have been passed to the anti-smuggling unit, and undeclared medical needles can be treated as smuggling if no import permit is held.
Customs has not said whether the four women now face criminal charges or a fine.
