A woman has vanished after getting into a mystery car while on a night out with friends.
Beatriz Vitória Aparecida Neves Mota, 27, told pals she would be back within a few minutes but has not been seen since.
She disappeared after going to speak to the occupants of the vehicle near the bar where she had been drinking on Friday night (9 Oct).

According to witness accounts given to police, the people inside the car repeatedly urged her to get in.
Her sister, Geovana Luiza, said Beatriz had warned her friends to come looking for her if she failed to return within five minutes in Jaboticatubas, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

“She was at the bar with some lads and told them ‘I’m going over there to talk in the car; if I don’t come back in five minutes, come find me’,” Geovana said.
“She didn’t come back, so one of them went to look, but the car had already disappeared with her.”
Security footage showed a silver car travelling up the road towards the bar before returning around 15 minutes later.

Another camera captured the same vehicle passing through the city centre, but police have not confirmed who was inside or where it went afterwards.
The footage is now among the key leads in the investigation, with specialist anti-kidnapping officers joining local police enquiries.
Beatriz’s ex-boyfriend and his current partner were called back to the police station on 13 October to provide further information, according to local reports.

Relatives have alleged that Beatriz suffered abuse during her relationship with her ex, which reportedly ended around two months before she disappeared.
Her family also said a fake Instagram account sent threatening messages to her younger sister after the disappearance, although police have not confirmed any link to the case.
The ex-boyfriend and his partner have not yet been publicly identified as suspects.

The authorities have been searching dirt roads, woodland, farms and rural areas around the town of Jaboticatubas near Belo Horizonte, Brazil, as reported by Need To Know.
Beatriz’s sister said the family had no new information and were continuing their hunt, hoping to find something that could lead them to her.
The search continues.
