A plane has crashed into a catering vehicle on the apron in a dramatic night-time collision.
Dramatic footage showed the Boeing 737 MAX 8’s wing ramming the parked food truck while it was being towed.
Emergency crews raced across the apron after the wing tip slammed into the upper section of the white Sky Café vehicle.

No passengers or crew were on board the WestJet aircraft at the time of the smash and no one was hurt.
The plane had landed hours earlier as flight WS2221 from Puerto Vallarta before being moved under tow to an overnight parking pad.
Canada’s Transportation Safety Board (TSB) confirmed the collision happened at Toronto Pearson International Airport just before 8.15pm on Tuesday (27 Oct).
An airline spokesperson said: “WestJet can confirm that an aircraft winglet made contact with a parked catering truck while being towed to an overnight parking pad at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
“There were no guests on board, and no injuries were reported.”
The aircraft, registered C-FRYV, was empty and had no intention of flying when the tow procedure went wrong near Terminal 3.
Early social media clips wrongly claimed the jet was taxiing under its own power after landing, but officials quickly clarified it was being repositioned without engines running.
Pearson Airport said there was no impact on operations and the full extent of damage to the winglet and the catering truck remains unclear.
The TSB is gathering information but has no plans to send investigators to the scene.
This is not the first time a WestJet jet has hit a catering truck – a similar pushback collision occurred at Vancouver in 2019, as reported by Need To Know.
