An ‘upset’ Harry Styles fan has slammed his merch for ‘false advertising’ after waiting two months for a £75 hoodie that looks nothing like its listing.
Freya Parkinson is one of ‘many’ Harries who have allegedly been left disappointed by the standard of the pop star’s expensive merch.
The 19-year-old forked out an eye-watering £75 for a hoodie which looked ‘completely different’ to the listing.

After waiting two painstaking months, the item finally arrived – with the results extremely ‘upsetting’.
“It is unfortunate that this is the quality of merch we as fans are subject to,” Freya told Need To Know.

“I would have expected better after waiting two months for it.
“I had many qualms about this as soon as I received the package.
“I instantly noticed a few things that did not line up with the website listing.”
The ‘Tracklist Hoodie’ in red was ordered from the Harry Styles UK website on 19 May by the student.
She was informed on 20 Jun – the scheduled delivery date – that the item would be delayed due to ‘unforeseen production delays’.
Finally when the hoodie did arrive there were a number of glaring differences which left Freya fuming.

She said: “The composition of the hoodie as stated on the website is 100% cotton.
“The hoodie I received states on both the back label and the side label that it is made out of 65% cotton, and 35% polyester.
“This is false advertising.
“The hood of the hoodie I received is completely different from the website listing.
“My hoodie has two drawstrings, which the website does not.
“My hoodie meets in the middle, whereas the website one crosses over on the front.
“My hoodie has three panels in the hood, where the website has only one.
“On the website the pocket has no banding on either open side, and the lettering on the front of the hoodie appears to reach the top right corner of the pocket.
“The hoodie I received is very different as it has a thick corded band on both open sides and the lettering is nowhere near as close to the top corner as the website one.

“Again, this is unacceptable.
“The hoodie is also not the correct colour.”
Freya has also been left dissatisfied with the fit of the clothing which doesn’t match the previous merch she had bought from the pop star before.
The fan purchased the 2022-2023 HSLOT hoodie from a merch stand at Wembley in a large.
Despite upping the size, she claims the two hoodies fit completely differently.
Freya said: “It is upsetting that after waiting longer than the expected shipping time this is the quality of merch we as consumers and fans are subject to.
“Many people have returned or cancelled their orders upon seeing the quality of this hoodie, meaning many fans will be disappointed and upset.
“The quality of his merchandise at the concerts was very good.
“I have a t-shirt and it is a very thick material and has lasted very well in the wash.
“So it shows that his merch team has the abilities to make good quality merch for fans, but skipped it for shortcuts this time round.”
Jam Press has approached Harry Styles UK for a comment.
