An e-scooter rider was seriously injured after crashing into the side of a speeding train at a level crossing.
The teen rider reportedly ignored the flashing red lights and ended up ploughing straight into the oncoming locomotive.
Shocking CCTV camera captured the moment the 16-year-old apparently ignored the lights at the crossing.

He raced across the tracks without slowing as the train bore down on him.
Miraculously, he missed the front of the train but slammed full-force into its side – and reportedly suffered head trauma plus injuries to his shoulder and left leg before being rushed to hospital.
The dramatic crash happened in Rzeszów, Poland, on 25 July.
The police said the 16-year-old rider was heading along Warszawska Street towards the village of Zaczernie when the collision happened.
He turned left onto Borowa Street and failed to stop at the red signals.
Footage released by the train operator Polregio from the train’s front camera shows the teen riding over a zebra crossing and footpath straight onto the rails.
The train was travelling from Rzeszów Główny station to Jasionka Airport when the collision took place.
Twelve passengers were on board at the time.
No commuters were hurt, but rail traffic ground to a halt for nearly two hours.
Services to the airport, Tarnobrzeg and Lublin were all delayed, as reported by Need To know.
Polregio released the video as a stark warning to local residents.
The operator stressed that trains need hundreds of metres to stop, even in an emergency.
“It makes no difference if you are in a car, on a bike, on a scooter or on foot – always stop when the red lights are flashing,” a spokesperson said.
Officials noted that level crossing accidents in Poland have already claimed 24 lives this year across over 100 incidents.
The teen was lucky not to become another statistic – had he arrived seconds earlier the outcome could have been fatal.
