A dramatic air-and-sea chase unfolded off a popular holiday hotspot after a man allegedly stole an £855,000 boat and fled across the water.
The 52-year-old suspect allegedly ignored repeated orders to stop and even tried to RAM patrol boats pursuing him during the high-speed chase.
The drama began on Sunday (23 August) morning, when the 112 Emergency Service received a report that a boat belonging to a charter company had been stolen from the Port of Sóller in Mallorca, Spain, as reported by Need To Know.

The company helped authorities track the vessel, which had a man and a woman on board.
A Civil Guard Air Service helicopter was scrambled alongside two vessels from the Provincial Maritime Service to hunt down the stolen boat.
It was eventually spotted near Tagomago Island, off Ibiza.
Officers repeatedly ordered the skipper to cut the engines, but he allegedly refused to comply.
The man then allegedly carried out a series of dangerous manoeuvres in an attempt to ram the Civil Guard boats.
A dramatic air-and-sea pursuit continued for around half an hour before the skipper eventually ceased his actions.
Officers were then able to intercept the vessel.
The 52-year-old man, who is originally from Eastern Europe, was arrested on suspicion of vessel theft, assaulting a law enforcement officer and disobedience.
The Civil Guard said the boat was worth approximately €1million (£855,000).
