A car was left stranded on a beach after getting stuck in the sand as the incoming tide crept ominously towards it.
The vehicle, which appears to be an electric car, was spotted on Polzeath beach in Cornwall on Saturday (30 August).
Footage shows the car sitting helplessly on the sand with its wheels buried as seawater gradually closes in.

A crowd of beachgoers gathered around to watch as the rising tide began to surround the vehicle, as reported by Need To Know.
With nobody apparently inside, the unattended car was left at the mercy of the sea as onlookers watched the drama unfold.
It is unclear how the vehicle ended up stuck on the beach or what happened to it afterwards.
Footage of the bizarre scene was shared on social media, where amused viewers were quick to pile in.
Someone said: “I could see a hundred of these in my feed every day and never get bored.”
Another person wrote: “What a beautiful sight to see.”
A third user commented: “Put it in a bowl of rice; that will save the battery. Done it with an old phone.”
