A streamer lost a finger trying to sneak into a music festival – despite already having a ticket.
Adalton Rodrigues, known online as Lodk, tried to scale a fence surrounding Rock in Rio in the early hours of Saturday (5 September).
But the stunt went horribly wrong when the 31-year-old caught the ring finger of his right hand in the structure.

Adalton was rushed from the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to hospital, where doctors determined the finger could not be saved.
He underwent surgery to amputate it before later being discharged, as reported by Need To Know.
Speaking in a video posted on social media, Adalton said: “For anyone who doesn’t know, there’s a video going around of a guy who lost his finger on the fence. That guy is me.”
The streamer told followers he had been attempting to sneak into Rock in Rio as part of a livestream to expose potential security flaws.
And bizarrely, he already had a legitimate ticket for the festival that day.
He explained: “I do IRL livestreams (‘In Real Life’), and this was an idea for some content. I actually had a ticket for that day.
“The idea was to see if I could find a security flaw. I got there early, walked around the Cidade do Rock a few times, looking around and checking things out.
“I even considered hiring a canoe and going in by water.
“But at one point I stopped at a petrol station, saw a fence and thought, ‘I’ll try here.’ And that’s where it happened.”
Adalton was with a friend at the time, who remained outside the event and filmed the stunt for a livestream.
It was broadcast on Twitch, where Adalton has more than 18,000 followers.
He later deleted the video because he feared the graphic footage could result in his channel being penalised.
Recalling the horrifying moment, Adalton said: “I jumped and didn’t even realise my ring had got caught. When I landed on the other side, I felt that I’d hurt my finger, but I didn’t know I’d ripped it off.
“I said, ‘Brother, I’ve hurt my finger,’ and when he looked up, my finger was hanging from the fence. He was the one who told me.”
The streamer said he only began to feel pain when his wound was cleaned at the hospital.
He added: “I looked at my hand and it was just bone, because the whole finger hadn’t been ripped off, but all the skin had come off.”
Rock in Rio said in a statement that it “deeply regrets what happened and stresses how dangerous it is to attempt to break into the festival by jumping fences or taking other risks to enter illegally through unauthorised areas”.
