A group of French influencers have been arrested in Dubai over alleged drugs offences after reportedly partying at a luxury hotel.
Océane El Himer, Léa Mary and content creator Amirrlife were placed in police custody on Tuesday (22 September), according to French media.
The French foreign ministry confirmed it had been informed of the arrest of three French nationals and said its consulate in Dubai was providing consular assistance.

El Himer, 33, who has more than 1m Instagram followers, is a former reality TV star who appeared on shows including “Les Marseillais” and “La Villa des Cœurs Brisés”.
Mary, 28, who has more than 2m followers, became known through programmes including “Les Princes et les Princesses de l’Amour” and “10 Couples Parfaits”.
Amirrlife, who has around 161,000 Instagram followers, describes himself as a trading expert and regularly posts about luxury cars, private jets and his lifestyle.
The circumstances surrounding the arrests remain unclear.
Blogger Aqababe has claimed police were called after several complaints about noise at a Dubai hotel, before allegedly discovering drugs at the property.
He has also claimed cocaine and ecstasy were present and that the three influencers tested positive for drugs.
However, those claims have not been confirmed by Dubai police or French authorities, as reported by Need To Know.
The case could have serious consequences given the UAE’s strict drug laws.
France’s foreign ministry warns that importing, possessing or consuming narcotics is banned even in “infinitesimal” quantities.
It says possession or consumption carries a minimum two-year prison sentence, which can rise to 15 years in cases involving aggravating circumstances or repeat offences.
Marine El Himer, Océane’s twin sister, has publicly supported her.
She wrote on Instagram: “I will never let go of your hand, my other half. Nothing will make me give up.”
There has so far been no official announcement about the next stage of the case, and all three are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
