Firefighters forced their way into the residence, where they found a mattress on fire and began tackling the flames.
After extinguishing the blaze, they inspected the scene and found the ceiling fan above the mattress had been partially melted by the heat.
But on the mattress itself, they were stunned to find a sex toy that appeared to be charging.
The exact cause of the blaze remains under investigation, as reported by Need To Know.

However, the adult toy was found close to the suspected point of origin, with the plugged-in device now one of the lines of inquiry.
The fire was contained to one room, which was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The operation was completed shortly after 2pm before the firefighters returned to their station.
Authorities are now trying to contact the occupants for more information.
The full extent of the damage is yet to be determined.
Zulkhairani Ramli of the Malacca Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement: “Upon the arrival of the operational team at the scene, it was confirmed that a fire had broken out involving a mattress inside a room of an unoccupied house.
“Initial investigations found that the fire was believed to have started from an electronic charging device that had been left plugged in.”
