A man has been re-arrested on suspicion of murdering a British holidaymaker who was found unresponsive at a villa.
Jacqueline Causton died while staying on the Greek island of Zante, officially known as Zakynthos.
The 66-year-old, from Bawtry, near Doncaster, was taken to the island’s hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Greek reports published at the time said the tourist had been discovered unresponsive in the swimming pool of a rented villa in the Marathias area of Keri, as reported by Need To Know.
They reported that CPR was initially administered by someone at the property before paramedics continued attempts to revive her inside an ambulance on 14 May.

Jacqueline was reportedly taken to Zakynthos General Hospital shortly after 4.30pm without a pulse, where her death was confirmed.
Police and an ambulance crew attended the villa, while the circumstances were referred for investigation by the Greek authorities.
Her body was subsequently repatriated to the UK.
An inquest opening at Doncaster Coroner’s Court has now heard that a man was initially arrested on suspicion of murder on 12 June.
He was released on bail but has now been re-arrested, following what police described as “fresh evidence”.

South Yorkshire Police later confirmed that the suspect is 69 and was arrested in Worcestershire.
No charge has been announced.
The Crown Prosecution Service has not yet decided whether the investigation will ultimately be led by authorities in Britain or Greece.
No official cause of Jacqueline’s death has been disclosed.
Initial reports in Greece said investigators were examining whether her death had resulted from drowning or a medical episode, with a post-mortem expected to help establish the cause.

Those possibilities were reported before the British murder investigation and no conclusion has been publicly announced.
Area coroner Louise Slater adjourned the proceedings until February 2027, when the court is expected to receive an update.
The investigation remains ongoing.
