"Basically, most mornings when I’m on my way to work / to catch the train, I walk down past the back of some houses and I can feel the seagulls staring at me and waiting for me to come," Taylor told NeedToKnow.Online. "I try act calm but literally they start diving at me and that’s when I have to start running. "As a gay boy who doesn’t ever do sport, the running part is the worst bit. "I literally have a massive fear of seagulls now, my mum is petrified of anything that flies and I really get why now." Since posting the incident online, the video has racked up more than 250,000 views and 41,000 likes. Users on TikTok have been left in stitches, branding the moment as "hilarious".
