Yeferson Cossio underwent the procedure three months ago. The 29-year-old influencer - who has 11 million followers - said: “I underwent the most painful surgery in the entire world. “Would you do it?” Yeferson, of Antioquia, Colombia, said the procedure can make someone grow between two and four inches taller than they were. He stated: “I'm 1.77m (5ft 8). “Reaching 1.87m (6ft3) seems too much to me, but I'm going to stay around 1.83m (6ft).” He added: “Just as it’s the most painful operation, it is also one of the most expensive.” The Colombian influencer reportedly paid between COP 200 million and 700 million (£39,376 and £137,833) for the treatment. His surgeon pointed out that the operation is typically used to adjust malformations that leave one limb longer than the other or when a patient loses part of a limb in an accident. The specialist said that Yeferson will be able to carry out his daily activities as normal when he recovers, such as walking, exercising, and playing football. He added that the treatment takes over four months from surgery to full recovery. Yeferson said he learned about the procedure after suffering a problem with his legs in the past. He explained: “Two years ago, I had an issue with my legs that I don’t really want to talk about because it’s very personal. “But one of the things that had the most impact on me was to do with leg stretching. “I looked into it, met with some people, and found that, yes, it exists.” Yeferson recently showed off the results of his limb-lengthening surgery on Instagram. In the clip, he is seen standing next to his sister Cintia in front of a mirror. As she films with her phone, she asks him:

Yeferson Cossio underwent the procedure three months ago.

The 29-year-old influencer – who has 11 million followers – said: “I underwent the most painful surgery in the entire world.

“Would you do it?”

Yeferson, of Antioquia, Colombia, said the procedure can make someone grow between two and four inches taller than they were.

He stated: “I’m 1.77m (5ft 8).

“Reaching 1.87m (6ft3) seems too much to me, but I’m going to stay around 1.83m (6ft).”

He added: “Just as it’s the most painful operation, it is also one of the most expensive.”

Yeferson recently showed off the results of his limb-lengthening surgery on Instagram.

In the clip, he is seen standing next to his sister Cintia in front of a mirror.

As she films with her phone, she asks him: “At what point did you get so big?

“Stand up straight for me.”

She turns to her taller brother and says with a gasp: “You are a giant.”

Yeferson has been heavily criticised over his decision to pay a large sum of money to be 6ft tall, prompting some trolls to accuse him of hiding the finished results.

In response to the online hate, he said: “Why would I hide that?

“That’s like ‘Hello, my name is Yeferson, I have a complex – like almost all human beings – about a part of my body and I have a couple of hundred million pesos to change what I don’t like’.”

One local commented: “He increased his height and doubled his stupidity, how ridiculous.”

Luisa said: “Now he will be walking more crooked.”

Leandra wrote: “I want to see him running, hahaha.”

Daniela remarked: “He cannot always stand up straight, he has to be supported.”

Fred commented: “He’s wearing his mum or sister’s high heels.”
