It’s alleged the suspect knew where his adoptive father kept his gun and he had tested it shortly before the crime.

He allegedly shot his father when he was in the kitchen with his back turned.

When his sister heard the bang, she came into the kitchen and was shot in the face, it is alleged.

After killing the pair, the suspect went to the gym.

After returning home, he is suspected of waiting for his 50-year-old mum who was killed as soon as she saw the bodies.

The next day, he allegedly stuck a knife in her body.

The suspect is charged with three counts of homicide with aggravating factors, illegally carrying a gun, and corpse desecration.

He has been sent to a secure centre for children as the investigation continues.
