A brave shop worker managed to scare away a knife-wielding thief with an even bigger blade.
The encounter was reminiscent of Crocodile Dundee’s famous line in the hit film: “That’s not a knife, that’s a knife!”
A clip shows the suspect entering the store with his face partially covered by a scarf.

He then approaches the counter and removes a small blade from his beltline.
He apparently threatens a shop worker, who is behind the counter, before noticing someone approaching from the side.
The suspect sheepishly stuffs his blade back into his trousers before walking out of the shop.
The cause of his concern is then revealed.
A young woman enters the frame with a large knife that dwarfs the thief’s.
She turns and smiles at the colleague who was just threatened while brandishing the huge blade.
The alleged attempted robbery took place in the city of Cipolletti in central Argentina.
It happened last Thursday (31 Oct), as reported by Need To Know.

One local said: “Brave girl!”

Another wrote: “I’d take her home to meet my mum.”
“No doubt the criminal will accuse of the girl of violating his human rights and demand compensation,” commented someone else.

Although the workers chose not to report the alleged crime, the police have confirmed that they are aware of the viral video and are looking into the matter.
