Dramatic footage shows a pilot floating in the air after a plane crashed to the ground following a mid-air collision.
Two Embraer Tucano T-27 training aircraft, used by the Brazilian Air Force, slammed into each other while on a training flight.
One of the pilots managed to eject before the accident, escaping with a parachute and landing safely nearby.

He was rescued by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
The pilot in the second plane was able to land his aircraft safely.
Footage captured from the incident shows the aftermath of the crash as one of the planes descends into a sugarcane field.
A cloud of thick, black smoke can be seen billowing into the air.
Helicopters can be spotted in the sky, as well as the parachute holding the pilot.
Other videos provide a closer view of the aircraft that hit the ground. Rescue teams stand by, ready to put out the flames.
The crash occurred on November 1 in Pirassununga, São Paulo, and the accident is set to be investigated by the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa).
The FAB has commented on the incident, as reported by Need To Know.
They said: “The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) reports that, this Friday (01/11), two T-27 Tucano aircraft, used in training cadets at the Air Force Academy (AFA), collided during an instructional flight in Pirassununga (SP).”
“One aircraft landed safely, while the other was directed to an uninhabited region.
“The pilot successfully performed the ejection procedures from the aircraft and was then rescued by a FAB rescue team.
“The Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA) will investigate the accident in order to identify possible contributing factors to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.”
