Heartbroken fans of Benidorm legend ‘Dutch Danny’ are rallying to pay for his funeral.
The popular expat – who lived on the streets for many years – died after being rushed to hospital.
He lived in the Spanish resort popular with holidaying Brits for many years, entertaining countless holidaymakers and locals.

Known for his unique and outgoing personality, Danny often played the ukulele for passers-by.
His expat community has now set up a fundraiser to help pay for Danny’s cremation costs.
So far £1,065 has been raised, as reported by Need To Know.
A fundraiser has been launched by a Dutch friend of Danny, which reads: “As you all heard, our Benidorm legend has passed away, who didn’t know him?
“Danny, guitar man, old fool, whatever we called him, he was a special man, didn’t ask for anything and didn’t want to take anything, except a can of beer.
“He was not a bother to anyone and even brought a smile to many people.
“I brought Danny money every week, food, clothes and of course a can of beer that he loved.”
Locals were quick to express their sadness toward the news.
Tony commented: “God bless you Danny, a harmless soul.”
Margo said: “We used to watch him outside the Silver Dollar.
“He was entertaining.”
“Such sad news.
“Saw him last week but not his usual self.”
Sandra added: “So sad. Talking to him a few months ago, a lovely gent. RIP Danny.”
“I spend every holiday in Benidorm.
“Every day we cooked for him, good little dishes and we brought him new clothes.
“He was very kind,” said Fazilat.
He died last Thursday (2 Jan).
