A brave shopper got whacked in the face after she tried to stop an alleged thief trying to flee from Tesco.
The suspect was locked in the supermarket and lost his coat in a tussle.
One of the workers in the blue Tesco uniform and the woman tossed it to the floor as he tried to leave.

The man clad in black trousers and a green polo shirt stood with his arms up and fists clenched.
He then tried to prise open the automatic doors as the hero customer shouted: “Never.”
Another Tesco employee waded in and all three tried to prevent him from leaving.
The courageous woman – wearing a black coat – tugged at his waist.
The alleged shoplifter then turned around and caught her with a flailing arm.
It struck her in the face.
He told her to “f*ck off” as he fled.
The 17-second video filmed by a stunned shopper then came to an end.
It happened at the Tesco Express in High Road, Leytonstone, East London, on Monday (6 Jan).
Local, Gary Williams said: “Big up to the woman.”
Victor Harris added: “Why is the woman doing all the work?
“While the security are just standing there?”
Another said: “Everyone’s a gangster until a pensioner pulls up.”
Derek Richter joked: “Did he at least scan his Tesco Clubcard first?”
It comes amid a spate of shoplifting cases during the cost-of-living crisis, as reported on Need To Know.
The Met Police and Tesco have been approached for comment.
