He mouthed “Catch it, catch it.”
Dappy – who was in the band with cousin and former X Factor judge Tulisa and pal Fazer – made a grabbing action with his hands.
But the fan dropped the microphone on the floor.
Shirtless Dappy could be seen mouthing: “F*cking hell man.”
After he got the mic back it didn’t appear to work which frustrated the former pop star.
Dappy banged it on his hand and tried to sing into it before lobbing it on the floor himself.
The show took place at Trilogy Nightclub, Colchester, Essex.

“I thought he was rude to the fan that dropped the mic,” claimed one reveller Ellen Collins.
She also told Need To Know: “I was just really let down by his behaviour and attitude.
Members of the public were mixed on Dappy’s behaviour on stage.
Simran said: “Why is he always so angry?”

Cassie added: “I would have asked for my money back.”
But Morgan stated: “I’ve met Dappy and he was an angel.”

It happened on 30 March.
Dappy has been approached for comment.
