An instructor and his student were killed when their plane crashed in a field just seven minutes after take off.
Abner Oliveira and Felipe Coiado were found dead at the scene by firefighters yesterday morning (1 July) morning.
Their bodies were trapped inside the wreckage and had to be cut out.
Responding paramedics say the pair, aged 41 and 24 respectively, died from multiple cranial trauma.
The CAP-4 Paulistinha aircraft was built in 1943 and was authorised for private flight training.

Its airworthiness certificate was due to expire at midnight, as reported by Need To Know.
The plane had taken off from São José do Rio Preto Airport, about 260 miles north-west of São Paulo, Brazil.
It is not clear what caused the aircraft, which belongs to the São José do Rio Preto Aeroclub, to crash.

Air accident investigators say there was no fire or fuel leak.
Witness Neide de Lourdes Braga saw the plane flying unusually low moments before it hit the ground.
The manicurist told local media: “The moment I caught sight of it, all I saw was that shape flying right over my car.
“It flew about five metres above, just in front of my car, really low. I looked up and saw it losing power, then I saw it start to turn.”
Abner leaves behind a wife and three daughters, aged two, six, and nine.

Felipe – from nearby Potirendaba – had completed his first solo flight in September 2023.

The investigation continues.
