Ex-PM Liz Truss has channelled her inner Happy Gilmore by starting a £1,030 annual golf academy course.
The former Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party has now taken up a new hobby.
Following the shortest leadership stint in UK politics history, the 50-year-old has forked out over £1,000 on a new pastime.
Truss now spends her free time practising her golf skills as part of her chosen clubs programme to get people into the sport.
The ex-PM is perfecting her craft at the Sundridge Park Golf Club on Garden Road, Bromley.

Fortunately, her £1,030 annual academy course subscription also comes with a few perks.
The 50-year-old now has a member’s bar card for discounted food and drink, with a whopping £50 credit.
Truss also has access to the clubhouse and all practice facilities located on site.
The structure of the course follows a mixture of group and individual lessons.
The women’s academy aims to sharpen students’ games and get them an official handicap within a year.
Professional teachers will advise members when to move on from the course.

Ben Riley, general manager of Sundridge Park, confirmed Truss to be a part of their academy on (25 Jul).
The club takes new recruits on (1 Jan) and (1 Jul) every year, as reported by Need To Know.
A spokesperson for the golf club stated: “Golf is great for your physical and mental health and your social life.
“It’s best to start with good tuition, and we can certainly offer that at Sundridge Park – the perfect place to learn and have fun alongside other women.
“A one-year programme of tuition, practice and play to sharpen your game to help get you an official golf handicap.
“When you get your official handicap to 29.9 or lower, you can join the friendly women’s section at Sundridge Park Golf Club.”
