The rapper’s performance followed a great opening day of music on Friday (8 Aug), which saw the likes of Kaiser Chiefs kick off the live music at Watergate Bay.

The indie greats were followed by festival favourites The Wombats before a dazzling display by pop icon RAYE.

The star performed her greatest hits, including Escapism, PRADA and Worth It, bringing the opening day to a close.

Rizzle Kicks continued their return to the limelight with an energetic Saturday performance under clear blue skies to kick off day two.

Festival goers were treated to the likes of Nelly Furtado with special guest Katy B – before witnessing Australian band Ocean Alley’s groovy show, followed by Mike Skinner from the Streets’ bouncing DJ set.

The final day saw Natasha Bedingfield entertain fans with her set before Franz Ferdinand got the crowds bouncing with their indie-rock anthems.

Sunday (10 Aug) drew to a close with a memorable performance from The Prodigy, who dazzled fans with an electrifying light show, as reported by Need To Know.

Just around the corner from the music mayhem was the iconic surfing competition at Fistral Beach.

The Boardmasters Open surf competition provided incredible entertainment, with a standout performance from Lukas Skinner – who landed a remarkable double podium in both the QS and Boys Juniors categories.

It was his second consecutive year securing the feat.

Boardmasters CEO, Andrew Topham, said: “The last five days have been a true celebration of creativity, community, collaboration and culture.

“I’m very proud of the festival that the team has produced, which is a testament to their hard work and year-round planning.

“ From the waves at Fistral Beach, to the stages and incredible performances at Watergate Bay, the improvements made and renewed focus on our cultural heritage have been obvious and hugely welcomed.

“Fistral Beach felt like it did in years gone by.

“We appreciate the positive feedback we’ve received on many of the improvements, including this year’s traffic management plan.”

Ticket holders from the 2024 and 2025 festival have exclusive access to the ‘Loyalty Onsale’ for next year’s Boardmasters.

Fans will be able to lock in their ticket for the festival on Wednesday (13 Aug) at 10 am with an 11-month payment plan for £23.09 a month.
