A 24-year-old lawyer died after she suffered a severe bout of bronchitis while travelling with her boyfriend.
Luíza de Pieri Schambeck began struggling to breathe during a car journey.
Despite using the inhaler she always carried with her, her condition rapidly worsened.

Her boyfriend, William Soligo, re-routed to the nearest hospital, but Luíza died around half an hour later.
The horror unfolded as the couple drove from Lauro Müller – Luíza’s hometown – to nearby Orleans, south west of São Paulo, Brazil, last Friday (15 Aug), as reported by Need To Know.
Earlier this year, Luíza graduated in law from the University of Extremo Sul Catarinense.
She had been working at a law firm in Lauro Müller for three years and was planning to sit the Brazilian Bar Association exam later this year.
Luíza was also known for her voluntary work rescuing abandoned pets. She had even travelled to neighbouring Rio Grande do Sul state last year to help animals affected by the devastating floods there.
The NGO Miados e Latidos (Meows and Barks) paid tribute to her, writing: “Luíza, you left us far too soon – so many conversations, so many little ‘mishaps’, but always with the love of animals first.
“We will continue doing everything we can to honour your dedication and fight for the cause you cherished.”
