A celebrity hairstylist was shot dead outside his own salon just days after filing a restraining order against a former friend.
Miguel Ángel de la Mora Larios, known as Micky Hair, was gunned down as he left work on Monday (29 Sept) evening.
Two gunmen on a motorcycle approached him and one fired at point‑blank range, hitting him at least five times in the face and neck.

He died instantly in Polanco, one of Mexico City’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.
None of his belongings were taken.
Twenty days earlier, Miguel, 28, had filed a restraining order against Eduardo Ederly, accusing him of threats.
Reports say the pair had once been friends but fell out over unfinished renovation work at Miguel’s salons, as reported by Need To Know.

Ederly claimed Miguel had failed to pay for the work, while he accused him of overcharging and threatening to set fire to a salon.
Cops are investigating.
Miguel was a social media star with more than 100,000 followers, sharing images of international travel, designer clothes, and luxury cars.
Four days before his death, he transferred 1.75m MXN (£71,000) to a real estate development company – possibly to cover rent for his salon in Guadalajara.

Investigators are now examining how he amassed such wealth and whether it is connected to his murder.
Once a cook, Miguel discovered his passion after a friend invited him to a hairstyling workshop.
He quickly opened salons that attracted high‑profile clients, including singers Ángela Aguilar and Kenia Os, actress Natalia Dupeyrón, influencer Priscila Escoto, and beauty queens Regina Peredo and María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa.
