Her death was confirmed by the Mexican Actors Association on Tuesday (30 Sept).
A spokesperson said: “The National Actors Association deeply regrets the passing of our fellow stunt performer Diana Marina López Lara, known as Marina Lars, a member of our union.
“We send our condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. May she rest in peace.”

The cause and exact date of her death have not yet been made public.
Directors and actors such as Elías Solorio, producer of ‘Vecinos’, paid tribute to the young stuntwoman, as reported by Need To Know.
Actor and close friend Tomás Guzmán said, “We once talked about one of us going to the other’s funeral.
“One of us would have to say goodbye, only one of us would be left to deal with the absence, the silence, and the emptiness of not having the other by our side…

“I want to tell you that you didn’t go alone; a big part of my heart, my soul, and my being went with you.”
Diana recently worked on the series ‘Mujeres Asesinas 3’ alongside Mexican star Angelique Boyer.
She obtained a degree in optometry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, but found her true passion in the performing arts.
She specialised in stunt work and combat routines, disciplines that require physical dexterity, strength and versatility.
In addition to acting, Diana had a passion for music, skating and parkour.
