A beauty queen has died in a road accident while travelling to buy toys for vulnerable children at Christmas.
Lucero Ramírez was killed after her grey Jeep veered off the road and overturned.
The 22-year-old model died at the scene.
Two relatives, Carlos Daniel Ramirez, 29, and Naria de Jesus Ramirez Antonio, 50, were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
They were travelling to Mexico City, Mexico, to buy toys and sweets to donate to young children in vulnerable communities, as reported by Need To Know.
Their vehicle flipped over on the Federal Highway 150D near the city of Cordoba yesterday (17 Dec).

The authorities are trying to determine whether the vehicle encountered a mechanical failure or if external factors came into play.
Lucero started participating in beauty pageants in 2023.
That year, she was crowned Flor de Mayo in her hometown Oteapan in the southern state of Veracruz.
Later, she represented her home state in Miss Independence and Miss Tourism contests across the country.
As well as modelling, Lucero was branching out into politics and recently announced that she would be running for councilwoman for District 27 of Acayucan for the centre-left Citizens’ Movement party.
Party chairman Dante Alfonso Delgado said: “Those of us who had the opportunity to know her are aware that she always conducted herself with respect and a clear vocation for service and civic engagement.

“To her family, friends, and acquaintances, I send a heartfelt embrace and my deepest condolences.
“There are no words that can ease such a loss, but I sincerely hope that they find strength and comfort in the love she showed during her life.”
Lucero was also studying Law at Veracruzana University at the time of her passing.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
