An elderly man was mugged at knifepoint as passersby just walked on and didn’t try to help.
The OAP victim was walking down a residential road when he was approached by three hooded yobs from behind.
He was cornered by the trio, one of whom had a large blade.

The street robbery was caught on CCTV of a house in the road.
Two pedestrians walked just feet away from the armed robbery.
They walked by either side of the muggers and the victim.
Two other passersby on the other side of Beaconsfield Road, Southall, west London carried on too and didn’t intervene.
Locals reacted with anger at the crime and pedestrians not helping the victim, as reported on Need To Know.

Barbara Hogston said: “It is very sad to see.
“But even worse were the people that actually watched as they walked by.
“I know people are worried about repercussions.
“But surely it is your instinct to do at least something.”

Rahul fumed: “May be they got the courage and confidence to do so because they learnt that people will just pass by the side?”
James added: “This is horrible and sad to see happening.”
Leigh Ann said: “This is awful.”
Another added: “Look two people saw this just walked pass.”

The Met Police has been approached for comment about the mugging last Friday (16 Jan).
