A man has been spotted apparently stealing food from a Sainsbury’s home delivery van before fleeing on a bicycle.
The shocking footage shows the cyclist walking away from the vehicle with bags full of goods.
He then quickly pedals away from the scene – with the truck seemingly left unmanned.

A shocked passerby captured the video on Devons Roads, Bromley-by-Bow, East London, as reported by Need To Know.

The van was parked outside of The Widow’s Son pub.
The footage surfaced online on 8 Feb and has racked up a whopping 81,900 views online.
The robbery is believed to have taken place on Saturday (7 Feb).
The man in the video was wearing a dark green coat and grey jeans.
There was no sign of a Sainsbury’s worker in the clip, with the thief helping himself to items from the back door.
Members of the public have been left shocked by the footage.
One person said: “Don’t know how these vans are not locked, seriously.”

Another person added: “At least he didn’t have to use the self serve checkout.”
One other person said: “Thieving scum of the earth.”
Another person said: “We are living in a crazy time.”
One person added: “Stealing food is never okay, but I wonder what drove him to do it.”

Jam Press has approached the Met Police and Sainsbury’s for comment.
