A shoplifter was caught on CCTV making off with a giant sausage stuffed into her trousers.
The bizarre theft took place at a convenience store during opening hours on Sunday (15 Feb).
Footage shows the woman scanning the room and waiting for the coast to become clear, with a massive mortadella cylinder under her arm.

Once a couple of customers had moved away, she opened her waistband and shoved the 3kg meat into her tight-fitting trousers.
Unbeknown to her, a security camera captured every moment.
Another woman was watching from a short distance behind, though it’s unclear if she noticed the crime.
After tucking the protruding meat under her top, the thief turned 180 degrees and walked through the shop as if nothing had happened.
She then left El Rincón Del Pan in Ancud, Chile, without paying, as reported by Need To Know.
The business issued a warning online: “Neighbours, watch out for this light-fingered woman – she robbed us today. If anyone knows where she is, please send us a private message.”
The shop later joked: “You looked happy strolling off with the cured meat safely tucked away. Whoever ended up eating that now knows exactly what kind of ‘refrigeration’ it had.”
Locals had their say, too. Jonathan quipped: “It was meant for Valentine’s Day. Naughty girl.”
Mariel added: “She had the mould prepared.”

And Victor laughed: “Unbelievable. The whole sausage ended up in her trousers and she didn’t even flinch.

“Hope they catch her – but don’t sell that cured meat, it’s probably way over-smoked by now.”
