The agitated pair were videoed remonstrating with other passengers standing on the platform.
The shocking clip showed the men walking between the tracks seemingly unaware they could be carrying lethal live current.
At one point one of the men crosses the tracks and steps perilously close to the live track.
Thankfully he didn’t touch it and made it safely back to the platform.
It’s unknown if the live rail had been switched off.
The other man continued his rant as a train appeared to be held up just yards away.
Security staff appeared to be watching him from the platform.
It’s unknown how the incident ended.
It happened at East Croydon, London on Sunday, (22 Mar), as reported by NeedToKnow.
Some viewers were stunned at the near miss.
One said: “A bit close to the live third rail there.
“Or was it switched off?”
Another added: “750 Volts running through that third rail.
“He will be char grilled on the spot.”
While a third said: “This guy was literally centimetres from being electrocuted by the third rail and not making it home, absolute idiot.”

Someone else added: “This is becoming all too common.”
And another said: “East Croydon, platform 4, looking northbound.

“Electrified, so those guys were lucky not to get fried.”
