A Porsche was torn in half after smashing into a tree in a horror crash – but the driver miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
The force of the crash was so severe that only the driver’s seat remained intact.
The shocking incident happened on Meadow Lane near Ridgeview Road in Dunwoody, Georgia, US.

Images released by the Dunwoody Police Department show the vehicle completely severed into two pieces following the impact.
Police said: “A Porsche struck a tree with enough force to split the vehicle in half.

“Remarkably, the driver sustained only minor injuries. The driver’s seat was the only section of the cabin left intact.”
Photos from the scene also appear to show the passenger seat had been ejected from the car.
Officers confirmed the crash involved a single vehicle and are continuing to investigate the cause.
Speed is being considered a primary factor.

The road was temporarily closed while emergency crews cleared the wreckage and carried out enquiries.
Police later confirmed all lanes had been reopened.
The identity of the driver has not been released and it remains unclear whether any charges will be brought.
