A prominent paranormal influencer and bestselling author has died by suicide, authorities have confirmed.
David Wilcock was identified by officials following an incident on April 20, with his death confirmed two days later by local police.
Need To Know reports that emergency services responded to a 911 call at around 10.44am, with reports suggesting an individual was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Deputies made contact with Wilcock at a property but within minutes of their arrival the 53-year-old died by suicide, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado, USA.
No other individuals were found at the scene and authorities confirmed there was no wider threat to the public.

Wilcock had built a large following online, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers across platforms including YouTube and Facebook, where he regularly shared content focused on UFOs, extraterrestrial life and conspiracy theories.
He was widely known within the so-called “disclosure movement” – a community that believes governments are withholding information about alien life and advanced technologies.
In addition to his online presence, Wilcock was a successful author, with two of his books — The Source Field Investigations and The Synchronicity Key – becoming New York Times bestsellers.
He also made frequent appearances on the History Channel series Ancient Aliens, which explores theories surrounding lost civilisations and extraterrestrial influence on human history.

Just days before his death, Wilcock shared a message with followers on social media, hinting at personal struggles.
In the post, he wrote he had been dealing with “very intense stuff” and expressed gratitude for the support of his audience.
Tributes have since poured in online, with fans and public figures expressing shock at his death and remembering his impact on the alternative research community.
One person wrote: “This is such a shock.”
And someone else said: “RIP David, be safe and loved wherever you are..you will be missed dearly.”

Someone else said: “My heart feels so sad. Poor David. He didn’t deserve this. He was a genuine good person. God bless you my friend David. Blessings to Beth, his parents and his brother.”
