A NHS nurse and mum of six, described as ‘one in a million’ has tragically been killed in a car crash, with her heartbroken family kickstarting a fundraiser for her funeral.
Sarah Jayne Crook sadly lost her life after a van ploughed into her vehicle on a main road in a horrific collision.
A Vauxhall Vivaro van collided with the 38-year-old’s Toyota Aygo on 5 Jun.

The tragic crash took place on the A419 near the White Hart roundabout in Swindon, as reported by Need To Know.
The ‘amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend’ has left behind her devastated husband and six children.

The crash which took place in the morning, saw the van collide with Sarah’s vehicle – which was believed to have been broken down at the time.
Tragically, the NHS nurse from Cirencester, Gloucestershire, was declared dead at the scene.
A statement made by the family reads: “On Friday 5th June, we lost an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Sarah Jayne Crook, to a tragic collision.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and respect for her and the support for ourselves.
“We would like to say thank you to the hundreds of people who have sent condolences and memories of her.
“Please respect the family’s privacy at this time.
“Funeral details will be released when known.”
A fundraiser has now been launched in Sarah’s memory to cover the expensive funeral costs.

The page was launched on 6 Jun and has already received over £31,000 in donations.
Leanne Fertnig, who launched the fundraiser, said: “I would like to help Sarah’s family at this devastating time.
“Sarah was one in a million; she was so kind and would help anyone.
“She leaves behind her husband and six wonderful children.
“Nothing could ever take away the pain that her family will feel from such a loss, but if we could offer a small comfort by helping with the expensive funeral costs and giving Sarah the send-off she deserves, it would be much appreciated.
“Sarah, you will be truly missed, you will leave a hole in the hearts of so many.”
