A major search operation has entered its sixth day as police and specialist teams continue to comb waterways and rural terrain in an urgent effort to locate a missing woman.
Lyndsey Rankin was reported missing earlier this month, prompting an extensive multi-agency response involving police, search teams and volunteers, as reported by Need To Know.
Concern has continued to grow for her welfare as the search expands across difficult rural ground and nearby waterways.

The 28-year-old, described as “high risk”, was last seen in the Killen area of Northern Ireland on Monday evening.
She is described as being of slim build, with blonde hair usually tied up, and blue eyes. At the time she went missing, she may have been wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top.
Specialist search and rescue dog units have been deployed alongside officers as part of ongoing efforts to trace her movements.

Members of the public have also been urged to assist by checking outbuildings, farmyards and remote areas for any possible sightings.
Search efforts have included waterways, with Lough Erne among the areas being examined as part of the operation.
The wider search has been focused across rural parts of County Tyrone and surrounding areas near the border with County Donegal.
Castlederg remains central to the investigation as inquiries continue into the circumstances of her disappearance.
Lyndsey’s colleagues at Bubbles Adventure Alley in Strabane issued a heartfelt appeal to the public to assist the emergency services in any way they can.

“Lyndsey, one of our current staff members, has been missing since Friday,” said a spokesperson.
“The PSNI and other emergency services are currently involved in the search to help locate her. We sincerely hope she is found safe and well.”
Police have not released further details but say enquiries remain ongoing and are continuing at pace.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
