A Brit dad has gone missing after meeting new people in Benidorm, with no contact with loved ones for over 24 hours.

The father from Plymouth reportedly met a few new people whilst on his holiday abroad.

Terri Purland, who shares a child with Neil, reported him missing on Wednesday (1 Jul), as reported by Need To Know.

The Brit is described as having a bald head with a large tribal tattoo on his right arm.

He also has tattooed letters down his left forearm and is of a bulky build.

Neil has also not been active on social media, which has sparked concerns for his loved ones.

His son’s mother is now pleading with any expats, holidaymakers or locals to come forward with any information on him.

Terri said: “Looking for my son’s dad who is in Benidorm but no one has heard from him for over 24 hours.

“No posts on Facebook or even being active.

“He’s met a few people while there.

“If anyone has seen or heard from him can you please get in contact.”

Benidorm is an extremely popular hotspot for Brit summer holidays – with around 900,000 visiting every year.

The disappearance of Neil comes after another Brit was thankfully found after being reported missing in Spain.

Michael Hewitt, who was travelling over to the USA to cheer on England at the World Cup, vanished during a layover.

The die-hard footy fan known as ‘Little Mick’ to his mates, disappeared in Barcelona on 21 Jun.

Fortunately, he was found following a 10 day search – ‘blissfully unaware’ his loved ones were looking for him.

The Brit had lost his phone leaving him unable to travel onwards to the USA or contact people back at home.

The 65-year-old had been watching the tournament from a bar in the Spanish city, with confirmed sightings of him on social media.

Brother Gary Hewitt said: “Little Mick is safe and well in Barcelona, and was blissfully unaware that the world was searching for him.”
