Story from Jam Press (Omaze Draw) Pictured: The luxurious home. Luxurious £3M home with sauna, cinema and views over Lake Windermere could be yours for £10 in online draw. One lucky person could have a year to remember in 2022 by winning themselves a £3 million house overlooking the beautiful Lake Windermere. The grand prize in the seventh Omaze Million-Pound House Draw in the UK, is a fully furnished house, boasting a terrace with breathtaking views, cosy log fires, a cinema room, sauna, steam room, state-of-the-art gym, staggered gardens, and a workshop. The property is conveniently located just over a mile from Windermere station and the lucky winner will not be short of activities to entertain them in the area. All stamp duty and legal fees are covered, and the winner is also given £20,000 in cash. While many might want to live the life of luxury in the amazing home, the winner can also use it as a holiday or long-term let, with estate agents estimating that the average weekly rental income is between £6,000 and £8,000, rising to £12,000 during the high season. And it's not just about having a chance to win an amazing prize – the draw also raises money for charity as Omaze will give Alzheimer’s Research UK a guaranteed minimum donation of £100,000, with a target raise of £500,000. Online entries cost £10 for 15, £25 for 40, £50 for 85, £150 for 320 or you can enter by post with no purchase necessary. Previous Omaze winners include Ian Garrick who got a £1 million home in Cheadle Hulme in a campaign that helped to raise £250,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. The second saw Marilyn Pratt win a stunning £3 million townhouse in London’s leafy Fulham, in a campaign raising £1 million for the British Heart Foundation.

And it’s not just about having a chance to win an amazing prize – the draw also raises money for charity as Omaze will give Alzheimer’s Research UK a guaranteed minimum donation of £100,000, with a target raise of £500,000.

Online entries cost £10 for 15, £25 for 40, £50 for 85, £150 for 320 or you can enter by post with no purchase necessary.

The second saw Marilyn Pratt win a stunning £3 million townhouse in London’s leafy Fulham, in a campaign raising £1 million for the British Heart Foundation.

The third campaign raised £500,000 for The Prince’s Trust with Darren Wordon, an IT consultant from Bath winning a stunning £2.5 million seven-bedroom property in the Cotswolds.

Next up, foundry worker Glen Elmy won a spectacular coastal home in Devon that raised £1,000,000 for the NSPCC’s Childline, and most recently, the fifth draw saw the mother of a former Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) patient, Heekyoung Jin win her multi-million-pound dream home in Wimbledon raising £500,000 for GOSH Charity.

The sixth draw for a five-bedroom, £3.5 million property in Ascot raising funds to support Cancer Research UK, is due to close on 30 January 2022 for online entries and 2 February 2022 for postal entries.

Actor Stephen Tompkinson is supporting Omaze with the draw after his own father suffered from Alzheimer’s

He said: “I first got involved with Alzheimer’s Research UK when my father got Alzheimer’s and eventually died from it.

“I reached out to the charity to see if there was anything I could do to help, so we can find a way to help stop this disease and eventually cure it completely.

“One in three people today will develop dementia in their lifetime. The work that Alzheimer’s Research UK does is incredible.

“By entering the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, people will be helping the charity continue its work towards eradicating this disease forever – and on top of that, someone is guaranteed to win this amazing new house!”

Hilary Evans, Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Chief Executive, said: “This past year proves, more than any other, the value of investing in science and medical research, and what can be achieved with collective focus and collaboration.

“Just like science is our route out of the pandemic, science is our route to overcoming dementia and we know that research will bring us closer to finding much-needed preventions and treatments for dementia.

“We’re so pleased to be partnering with Omaze on the Million Pound House Draw. We hope to raise as much money as possible to continue our vital work for those affected by dementia and restore hope for future generations to come.”

James Oakes SVP International at Omaze said: “We’re honoured to be helping Alzheimer’s Research UK raise money and awareness for its life-changing work.

“By offering an incredible prize like this picturesque property in the Lake District, we’re giving people the chance to win an amazing house, while also introducing charities to brand new audiences.

“We’re proud that our method of fundraising has already raised £3,250,000 for five charities since we launched in the UK last year.”

The seventh draw can be entered at www.omaze.co.uk until 27 March 2022 for online entries and 29 March 2022 for postal entries.
