Two models have acted out a Spiderman scene in public, wearing nothing but body paint while doing so – and social media can’t handle the heat.
Francia James and Mikayla Saravia from Miami, who have a combined following of 18.1 million on Instagram, @francety and @kkvsh respectively, left fans of the Marvel Comics character stunned with their unusual routine and look.
In a series of posts shared over the last week, the pair can be seen standing at what appears to be a gas pumping station.
But rather than dressing up in clothes to emulate superheroes, the duo are ‘wearing’ cleverly-placed blue, red and white body paint.
The Spiderwomen are also joined by a third person in a green bodysuit, who appears to be the villain the Green Goblin.
In a video clip, Francia can be seen steadying herself as the green villain approaches, sat on what looks like a miniature car or hoverboard.
He launches himself at the model, who ushers for back-up from fellow spiderwoman Mikayla, who then comes into the shot.
With the help of some special effects, she jumps through a golden hoop before shooting cobwebs at the villain.
All the while the attack is going on, an unsuspecting civilian is pumping gas in the background, most likely baffled by what is going on.
Mikayla and Francia succeed in taking down the Green Goblin, who becomes trapped under cobwebs on the ground.
The models, clearly delighted with their work, jump up and down together, cheering.
“Let’s get out of here,” Mikayla says, as the pair run off, but not before Francia throws a bomb towards the villain, which then explodes in the background.
“Thoughts on the new Spider-boooty No Way Home movie?,” the Instagram post, which has since racked up nearly 400,000 likes, reads.
“The ending is freakin hilarious,” wrote one user, adding the fire and crying while laughing emoji.
“Save me spider bootay,” added someone else.
“Oh to be the guy pumping gas,” wrote another user.
“Yesss this was better then the actual new movie lol,” added a fourth person. [sic]
The duo also shared a few sizzling snaps of themselves posing in their body paint get-ups, which has received over 442,000 likes in a separate post.
“Come save me,” wrote one fan, clearly enamoured with the spiderwomen.
“This is gonna be the best man movies ever,” added someone else.
“Something’s def tingling lol,” wrote another cheeky fan.
“You 2 can wrap me up in your web & do whatever you want with me!!,” commented another user. [sic]
Hundreds of others appeared lost for words, simply posting fire emojis.
One photo however left a few social media users less than impressed. In the image, the two models are posing with their bums to the camera, and the soles of their feet are very dirty – most likely from their recent crime fighting.
“The feet ruin the hole pic,” wrote one user.
