Macrophilia, which translates as “lover of large” refers to people who are sexually aroused by people significantly larger than they are – and people are now using the technology to bring their fetishes to life.
Instagram content creator @mountaintoppsychos said he was always fantasised by giant women with big feet and began editing pictures of his fantasy in his spare time.
He soon decided to start his own page to share his work with others and build an audience of people who also share the same fetish as him.
The page features photos of colossal images of women standing or sitting on top of buildings or on the road side of major cities, including New York, Miami and Washington.
Other images show pictures of women stomping their big feet on top of buildings, and some snaps show the gigantic women squishing tiny men.
Speaking about his Instagram page, he said: “I’ve always been into this fantasy, and I used to do these edits all the time just for random people so I figured I’d join the community and make a page for them. Just as a hobby really.
“Mountain top psychos was just a silly name I came up with in high school.
“I’m straight so my fantasies revolve around women. There are plenty of editors who do giant men.
“It’s just that I edit what I’m interested in since it is a hobby.
“And I guess editing in the city scenery is honestly easier than editing in tiny people so my tiny edits are rare.”
Using Adobe Photoshop, he crops pictures of women and pastes them onto city backgrounds – and has even featured some photos of his girlfriend.
The 23-year-old said: “I use Adobe Photoshop.
“My process first involves selecting a picture. I kind of became a shout out page and just made edits for models who were cool with it plus a few requests.
“I usually require photos to be clear, well lit, and show the whole body or have nothing cropped from the subject (like my pictures where it’s just feet).
“In my free time I look at city backdrops and download them, then I choose one that works best with the picture.
“I crop out the subject and add them to the background, then normally create a foreground to add depth. Then I use some demolition smoke and save it.”
The 23-year-old said he even receives requests from Instagram users to create certain types of collages, and would usually get at least one request a day.
He usually features Instagram foot models on in his posts – but sometimes, women send him their pictures for him to photoshop as they have a fetish seeing themselves as giants.
The man added: “I’ve had many requests.
“Recently my activity has been low and so have requests. But for a while I would usually get an average of one a day. They were not all posted nor made, however.
“I haven’t really had any strange requests just impossible requests. Like people who ask me to make an edit of a photo that’s cropped weird.
“I can’t construct the rest of the body. I think the strangest requests are really those ones. Because I don’t know what people are expecting.
“Most of them are from foot models on Instagram.
“Some of them are sent in by people who want to see themselves as giantesses. Some of them are just random but always from fetish models.”
On some occasion, he gets comments from users wanting to start Instagram roleplay with him, but more often than not, people praise him for his work.
He said: “My comments vary between people basically trying to start a roleplay and models thanking me for promoting them in the giantess community.
“I find the former amusing and the latter flattering. I don’t really have a preference.
“I wouldn’t say I had any comments I didn’t like. I’m not really that popular that I’ve gained any haters. But I have had comments I just really didn’t understand before reading them for the 10th time.”
