A tourist has been slammed for hopping a fence and jumping into Elvis Presley’s pool at Graceland.
Maryann Miller leaped into the kidney-shaped lido at the iconic mansion, which has remained off limits for public use since 1977 – when it was last swum in by the king of rock ‘n’ roll himself.
The video, which has been seen by nearly one million viewers on TikTok, showed Maryannm, from Glenview, Illinois, walking across the diving board.

Seconds later, she leaps into the water before swimming towards the edge.
Despite the act being labelled “disrespectful” by many fans – Maryann was chuffed, as reported by Need To Know.
She said: “Not many people can say they’ve jumped in Elvis’ pool.
“But I can.
“And I was the first ever girl to do it.”
The pool at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, falls under a ‘restricted zone’ and is protected by ‘do not enter’ signs.
In 2023, Tommy Purcell jumped into the same pool, after which he and his family were subsequently escorted off the premises.
This act can land tourists in big trouble with lifetime bans, despite many arguing rumours of Elvis letting a fan jump into the water when he was alive.
The pool is the last stop on the Graceland tour and is located next to a meditation garden.
This memorial area is where Elvis himself was laid to rest after his body was moved from the Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis to Graceland following his death on 16 August 1977.
Fuming fans have taken to the comment section to share their views.
One person said: “This is so disrespectful.”
Another viewer added: “I can just imagine Elvis shaking his head in disappointment.”
Someone else said: “That’s not the flex you think it is. This is very disrespectful to Elvis and the family.”
One person said: “I’m pretty sure Elvis wouldn’t be upset about a female jumping into his pool.”
Another fan added: “Wow, the disrespect is disgusting.”
The incident took place on 7 July and has since been shared online, where it has gone viral.
