An NFT showing Hitler in sperm-form is set to be auctioned off, with sales expected to reach an estimated $50 million.
The controversial piece – which shows a colourful penis with 18 sperms with the face of Hitler with the line “1 nanosecond earlier or later: it would have saved 80 million people’s lives!” – is part of a collection by Pictor Roy.
The artist has titled it ‘Orgasm to Hell’, with the original painting auctioned off seven years ago fetching $19.5 million.
It is part of the ‘Orgasm Collection’, a painting collection that was digitised as NFTS, with the originals burned.
The 10-piece collection features uniquely patterned penises, each releasing the Hitler sperms with the same tagline.
Pictor Roy’s management said they expect sales of “at least $50 million” for the collection.
The artist’s work is classified by experts as a modern interpretation of Dadaism – an art movement of the European avant-garde in the early 20th century.
The collection is intended to stimulate thought in the viewer.
All 10 paintings are currently available for auction on NFT auction platform OpenSea.
