An influencer who has three monster-sized Great Danes says the 8ft canines are like “her babies” and she spends a small fortune feeding them.

Sabrina Giardina, 46, from New York, US is the proud owner of five-year-old Margot and her three-year-old puppies Parker and Viola, who have become social media stars (@lovemargot.co) with almost one million followers on TikTok and Instagram.

Although they are huge, she says the pack are more like “overgrown toddlers” than dogs – frequently sneaking food and snacks from the kitchen counter due to their height.

And that’s in addition to the 45kg of kibble and dietary supplements they eat every week, which costs Sabrina over $700 (£537) per month.

With the trio collectively weighing over 29 stone and with paws bigger than Sabrina’s face, she has been forced to install child safety locks on all cabinets to stop them helping themselves to more.

“I compare it to having three toddlers in the house”, Sabrina, who is also mum-of-two to her human children, Savannah, 23 and Mia, 19, told Jam Press.

“They even sleep 16-18 hours a day like babies.

“Thankfully they don’t wake me up too early in the mornings.

“The three of them are extremely human-like – they can even open cabinets and doors.

“Parker is the family comedian, his best quality is that he eats like a gentleman from forks and spoons.

“When he sits in the chair, we put a tie on him.

“Margot loves to play the act – she is an influencer by day and takes her role very seriously, but she is a lazy house cow by night.

“Viola’s best quality would be her take-charge attitude. She is extremely stoic and super serious, but very loving.”

Despite their naughty nature, Margot, Parker and Viola do their best to help out at home; they’re so tall they’re able to help clean the dishes – albeit with their tongues.

However, Sabrina struggles when taking the pack out for walks as going out with all three in tow sees her toppling over – so she has to limit it to two dogs per walk.

She said: “They are so heavy I can only take them two at a time.

“Thankfully we have a big garden so I don’t have to walk them that much.

“I’m like a kite on a string otherwise, it’s like having a walking harness on toddlers.

“Of course they are well-behaved but they are always right underneath you or by your side.”

To work off all that food, the terrific trio can often can be seen having a go on treadmills, too.

Like most children, the dogs are incredibly cheeky.

Despite putting up baby rails to divide up the house, the cheeky hounds are able to jump over.

Parker has even mastered opening the gate with a swift push of his nose and punch of his paw.

Despite standing at 8ft on his hind legs, he often forgets his size and happily sits on guests’ laps for cuddles.

The dogs also greet Sabrina’s husband Michael, 50, with stand-up hugs when he returns from work.

Sabrina uploads videos of their antics to Instagram every week and users have fallen in love with the trio.

In a TikTok video, which has been viewed 3.1 million times, social media users were quick to lap on the praise for the dogs.

One follower wrote underneath: “Fabulous dogs.”

A second TikTok user said: “Gentle Giants. Love Great Danes.”

A third person poked fun at their size commenting: “U shouldn’t let ur horses stay in ur house they r gorgeous horses tho [sic].”

Someone else wrote: “Such stunning Great Danes.”

Picking up on their size, a fifth social media user commented: “I DONT THINK ANYONE WOULD BE TRUSPASSING ANTTIME SOON [sic].”

Sabrina added: “You never get a moment alone, but I’m eagerly awaiting the day I can get more.

“They are like siblings to my girls.

“Having a house full of Great Danes is a lifestyle. That is the best way to describe it.

“A lifestyle I wouldn’t trade in for anything in the world.”
