A model has had a microchip dubbed the ‘Beauty Chip’ implanted in her bottom – in a bid to grow her derriere larger in order to be in with a chance of bagging the title of Miss BumBum Brazil.
Carolina Lekker will stop at nothing to win the contest, which chooses the “most beautiful butt in the country” – undergoing the gruesome procedure recently.
The hormonal implant releases the hormone gestrinone, derived from testosterone, which is believed to decrease fat, minimise cellulite, increase lean mass and increase libido.
Carolina had the chip implanted, with a video showing it being inserted into her bottom by a large silver instrument.
The bloodied area is later cleaned and stitched up.
The procedure cost Carolina £810 and took 30 minutes, with the results expected to last for six months.
If all goes to plan, the model hopes it will help her grow her derriere.
“The procedure was OK, I didn’t feel any pain and I didn’t have any problems,” Carolina told Jam Press.
“My butt has always been in shape as I exercise regularly and I’m regulated.
“[I wanted the chip to help] stop the pain of menstruation and also because of the benefits – it helps to lose weight and gain lean mass.
“I’m feeling great, I’m on a strict diet with my doctor and I feel great. I have to follow this diet to avoid problems.”
