A woman who made $200,000 selling her farts and boob sweat in jars is now auctioning off her underwear – and has been slammed by social media users online.
Steph Matto, 31, from Connecticut, US, previously made headlines after claiming to have been rushed to hospital in January with symptoms of a “heart attack”, caused by her forcing out excess gas.
The 90 Day Fiancé star says doctors told her to give up her fibre-high diet of beans, eggs and banana protein shakes, which had been fuelling her $200,000 business.
A self-proclaimed ‘fartrepreneur’, she also recently turned her hand to a new venture: boob sweat in jars – but has had to pack that in due to sunburn.
So with no gases or juices to sell, Steph has turned her hand at selling her underwear to fans.
The 24-hour auction ends today (August 4) and bids currently stand at $350.
Steph alerted her 302,000 followers on Instagram (@stepankamatto) of her new venture with the caption: “New auction is LIVE on my page and things are getting so tense and heated between my fans!
“Bids are currently up to $350 and we have 24 hours left in the auction! Who will be the lucky winner???”
However, the new business idea hasn’t gone down well with some social media users.
One person said: “I mean….do you respect yourself at all?”
Another added: “Good question. I rather make $60,000 a year with a teaching job, than $6 million a week doing this kind of stuff. It’s just where’s the dignity [sic].”
A third person said: “People who buy this stuff do so because they can’t get laid.”
Another simply added: “Wrong.”
However, not everyone hated the idea of owning the star’s underwear.
One person said: “Get it queen! If I thought I could make money doing your things I would too!”
Someone else commented: “Its more interesting to buy this instead of a fart jar [sic].”
“They just mad they ain’t getting that coin,” wrote another fan.
