A woman has gone missing on a trip after her boyfriend returned home without her.
Alyssa Smith has vanished after travelling into the city with her partner.
The 24-year-old’s boyfriend returned home and has been helping search for the missing woman with her family.

Smith has been missing since 27 Sep, with her partner returning home on 1 Oct, as reported by Need To Know.
The pair from Palatine, Illinois, took a trip to Chicago – where the woman allegedly vanished.
Now her mother, Rebecca Smith, with help from the boyfriend, is pleading with people to come forward with sightings or information on her daughter’s whereabouts.
Her last known location was the West Garfield Park area of the Windy City – between Cicero Avenue, Pulaski Road and Madison Street.
A missing persons report was made to the Palatine Police Department on 30 Sep.
The boyfriend has reportedly been searching the area where he was last with her.
According to reports, the Police received information that she may have been spotted in Chicago’s Grant Park area on 3 October.
Missing persons posters shared by her mother claim that Smith may have a black eye.
The 24-year-old is around 5ft 5 and weighs near 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
The missing woman has multiple piercings and tattoos – including a ‘Pennywise’ clown tattoo on her left shoulder.
Noticeable piercings include her nose, septum and eyebrow.
At the time she went missing, she is believed to have been wearing a grey hoodie, light khaki bottoms and a pair of white Adidas shoes.
Members of the public who recognise Smith have been warned to not approach or detain her and contact the authorities immediately.
