Queen lookalike, 82, announces retirement – after building fanbase of 225,000 with remarkable likeness A Queen Elizabeth II lookalike, who has built a following of nearly 225,000 fans on TikTok thanks to her remarkable likeness to the late monarch, has announced she is retiring for the time being. Elizabeth Davis, 82 not only shares a first name with the late Queen, but she also has a striking resemblance to Her Majesty that managed to fool royal fans online. A Queen Elizabeth II lookalike, who has built a following of nearly 225,000 fans on TikTok thanks to her remarkable likeness to the late monarch, has announced she is retiring for the time being.

Elizabeth Davis, 82 not only shares a first name with the late Queen, but she also has a striking resemblance to Her Majesty that managed to fool royal fans online.

The doppelganger, from Ashtead, Surrey, has spent the last five years posing at the Queen and the striking similarity has led to her not only becoming a TikTok star, but also appearing on TV shows including Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Following the monarch’s passing last week, Elizabeth announced that she is stepping down from the job out of respect – and shared a moving tribute to her royal idol.

“It’s such a sad time,” Elizabeth told NeedToKnow.online.

“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth was an incredible woman, mother, and grandmother.

“I don’t think we will see the likes of her ever again. “It has been a great honour and privilege to portray her as a lookalike on social media.

“I often wondered if she had seen me what she may have thought of it all. “I followed everything she did.
“I’ve been a fan since the seeing the Coronation in London with my mother when I was aged 10.

“We will all miss her. God bless you Elizabeth.”

Elizabeth believes it would be “in bad taste to impersonate her” following her death.

She began her lookalike career in 2017 after friends constantly compared her to the Queen.

Her daughter, Katherine, said: “We went to Windsor Castle to visit once and a little boy in the queue was staring at her.

“He was pulling on his mum’s coat and asking her if that was the Queen, then we went outside and about five people came up to her looking rather overwhelmed and asked if they could have a selfie with her.

“My mum was very confused as to what was going on.

“Another time my mum attended one of her friend’s daughter’s wedding and during the speech somebody said how happy they were that the Queen could make it on their special day.

“Her job has taken her all over the country she has appeared at the Palladium with Michael McIntyre, she appeared in his advert for his TV show, she has appeared on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway where she got slimed by them along with other lookalikes, and she appeared in Duran Duran’s latest music video to name a few.”

Elizabeth also shows off her resemblance to her 224,000 followers on TikTok, who adore her videos which feature her in royal attire and participating in comedy sketches.

Her latest video was a tribute to Her Majesty following her passing, sharing a montage of pictures of the Queen.

In the video, she says: “Today is a very sad day. My thoughts and prayers are with the royal family.

“It has been a great pleasure to portray the Queen on social media and in general as a lookalike. “I will miss pretending to be this remarkable lady.

There will never be another like her. God bless you Elizabeth.”

In a popular post filmed before the Queen’s passing, Elizabeth giggles as the text reads: “When people say ‘you look just like the Queen’. Elizabeth laughs and says: “Don’t be ridiculous.”

In another post, which was viewed 4.3 million times and racked up 450,000 likes, Elizabeth can be seen walking around a fruit market in full royal attire.

She says: “One just popped out to get one some cherries.” Viewers were left stunned by the incredible likeness. One person said: “Omg are you real?!?!

“OMG ARE YOU THE QUEEN?” said another follower.

Another fan dubbed her “Elizabeth’s twin”.

“No the Queen wouldn’t wear that attire.

But very close enough look alike well done,” said one eagle-eyed viewer. “Wow so alike,” another user agreed.
