Ty has launched an exclusive royal Beanie Baby toy to pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II – leaving social media users “in tears” and desperate to add it to their collections.
The iconic plush toy called ‘Elizabeth II’ is only available for purchase in the UK and will begin appearing in stores across the country towards the end of October.
Beanie collectors around the world are devastated that they can’t get their hands on the rare exclusive with royalist and Ty enthusiasts alike desperate to secure the toy.

To acknowledge Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite colour, the toy is available in baby blue, bearing a gold embroidered crown on her chest.
The bear is completed with a white and platinum coloured ribbon as a nod to her historic 70-year reign. Ty Warner has also made £100,000 donation to Cruse Bereavement Support, a charity the late Queen supported for 38 years.
The tag in the bear reads: “As a young Queen, you gave us your word, Above and beyond, your life you served.
A faultless reign as our Head of State, thank you for everything, Queen Elizabeth the Great.”
The popular bears, which were launched in 1993, have become a staple collector’s item and a symbol of the iconic nineties pop culture.

Amongst the range of the highly sought after pieces was “Princess”, a purple memorial bear released in 1997 following the death of Diana the Princess of Wales.
The release of the £5.99 bear saw thousands queuing outside shops was available worldwide, however the new Elizabeth II bear’s United Kingdom’s exclusivity makes the toy a rare collector’s item for beanie fanatics across the globe.
